I am a 29 year old IB Educator - the curator of Ryt Artworks. This website is created with the intention to showcase my calligraphy and doodling journey with family, friends and the larger art community.
 

Doodling is something that has been a part of me unconsciously since childhood. I admire Diane Bleck for her simplistic approach that fits all; Sylvia Duckworth - my role model who Sketch-notes and Sunni Brown who helped me verbalise the importance of Doodling in our lives.

In 2016, I took up lettering as a fun lunch break activity with a friend who introduced me to Brush lettering. Since then, have done various workshops and have self taught various scripts of hand lettering. 
 

I was introduced to the Copperplate Script through Instagram posts and formally with the Bombay Lettering Company. I then took up the workshop with Master Penman Barbara Calzorali on Copperplate and Spencerian Script. I connect with artists over various mediums to hone my skill further.

I have also conducted a few workshops and taught a bunch of kids doodling and about twenty-five adults the art of Calligraphy.

I recently also did a course with Chandan Mahimkar on hand-lettering and am now exploring a very technical aspect of hand lettering along with design aesthetics.
